Financial Aid
Financial Aid
Financial aid is assistance in meeting the cost of college, vocational, or trade school education. This aid can be applied to direct costs, such as tuition, fees, books and for living expenses such as food, housing and transportation.
Sources of financial aid are available from federal and state governments, private programs and colleges. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a document that all students must complete in order to receive any federal government aid. Most colleges use the information from this form to create financial aid packages for accepted students.
The FSA ID is a username and password you use to log in to the US Department of Education's online systems, including FAFSA. Here is additional information and tips on the FSA ID.
