2025 Inductees

Brandon T. Crist - Class of 2018

Brandon is one of the best swimmers in school history. As a five-year varsity swimming team member, he set several school records. Upon graduation, between individual events and relays, he held seven school records. Four of these are still school records today. He was named First Team All-County four straight seasons from 2015-18 as well as First Team AGR and team MVP for three straight seasons from 2016-18. He was also a seven-time Section V Class A champion and just missed an eighth sectional title when our 400 freestyle relay team he was part of finished second in 2017. He won sectionals in three events in 2016 - in the 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle, and as a member of our 200 freestyle relay team. He followed this up by winning sectionals in two events in both 2017 and 2018. His performances led him to compete in the New York State championships in four consecutive seasons, in multiple events. In his final two seasons, he finished in the top ten in the state multiple times. In 2017, he finished tenth in the state in the 200 freestyle and seventh in the 500 freestyle. In 2018, he finished fourth in the 200 freestyle and tenth in the 500 freestyle. He was also awarded the 2017 Section V Good Sports award at the New York State finals. He also set and still holds several pool records at other pools across Section V. He culminated his high school career by being awarded as the Churchville-Chili Career Male Athlete award in 2018 and then went on to swim at D1 University of Miami Ohio. 

Lukas Fernandes - Class of 2016

Lukas is one of the best soccer players in school history. He played on our varsity soccer team for four years and was team captain for two years. His leadership and talents helped lead our team to capture the Monroe County Division title in 2013 and 2014. As only a sophomore in 2013, he was our team’s leading scorer and team MVP finishing with 18 goals (fourth highest in school history for most goals in one season), 11 assists, and 47 points (third highest in school history for most points in one season) to help lead our team to the Section V finals. He was named First Team All-County and First Team AGR for three consecutive years in 2013, 2014 and 2015. He broke and still holds our school record for most career goals with 44, most career points with 114, and is fifth in school history for most career assists with 26. He was named Third Team All-State and NSCAA All Region Team for Region II in 2013, as well as Second Team All-State in 2015. He culminated his senior season in 2015 by being named team MVP and Monroe County Division 3 Player of the Year. After high school, he went on to Division 1 Temple University where he played soccer for four years. At Temple, he led the team in goals and assists in two straight seasons, was named team offensive MVP in 2018, was named a Philly Soccer Six All-Star and earned All-AAC Second Team honors in both 2018 and 2019. After college, he went on to play professional soccer with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and Flower City Union. 

Ty Raines - Class of 2019

Ty is one of the top wrestlers in school history. As a five-year member of our varsity wrestling team, he was the co-captain and team MVP four straight years from 2015-19. He was also named First Team All-County for three straight years, and First Team AGR for two consecutive years. His hard work also led him to become the Monroe County champion in 2019, and the Section V Class A champion twice in 2016 and again in 2019. In 2019, he was also named the Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Section V finals and went on to win the state qualifier tournament. He went to the New York State finals and finished in the top five twice, placing fifth in 2018 and third in 2019. He culminated his high school career by being named the Churchville-Chili Male Athlete of the Year in 2019. To this day, he is still the all-time school leader in career wins with 196, wins in one season with 49 (also second with 44, and fourth with 42), career takedowns with 335, career pins with 94, and fastest pin at :07. He is also second all-time in school history for most pins in one season with 25. He went on to wrestle at Division 1 University of Buffalo where he wrestled for six years and continued his success. At UB, he was a two-time team captain, two-time Academic All-MAC selection, won several tournaments, and was named the 2024 male Ideal Bull recipient which is given annually to one male UB athlete who exhibits the best leadership, work ethic and character. 

Lee Rogers - Class of 1982

Lee was a three-sport athlete in soccer, basketball, and track and field who was named All-County in all three sports during his senior year. On the soccer field, he was a strong defender. On the basketball court, he was the leading scorer in the 1980-81 season. In the spring, he set our school record in the high jump at 6’3” which is still currently third all-time in school history. He was also named the Churchville-Chili Male Athlete of the Year as a junior in 1981. After high school, he went on to be a three-sport athlete in soccer, basketball, and track and field at Spring Arbor College where his success blossomed. He was named an NAIA All-American in soccer from 1983-85 and an NCCAA All-American in soccer from 1983-85 and in track and field in 1986. He was awarded the Don McDonald award in 1985 at Spring Arbor for outstanding performance and leadership and was also named the 1986 SAC Athlete of the Year. He was also a two-time gold medal winner in the Empire State games in soccer and played in the Budweiser Classic. He was drafted in two different professional soccer leagues, the Kalamazoo Kangaroos in the first round, and the Dallas Sidekicks in the third round. He ended up playing six years of professional soccer with the Milwaukee Wave. As a defender with the Wave, he played in 173 games, scoring 67 goals and adding 34 assists. Following his playing career, he began coaching high school soccer. Currently, he coaches both the boys and girls soccer teams at Brookfield Academy in Wisconsin. He has coached the girls team to two state titles and has coached the boys team for over 22 years. Tonight marks the fourth Hall of Fame this man has been inducted into. He was inducted into the Spring Arbor Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005, the Milwaukee Wave Hall of Fame in 2011, and the Wisconsin Soccer Association Hall of Fame in 2015.
