Felicia Barretta - Special Contributor

Felicia Barretta - Special Contributor

Felicia was hired as the secretary to the Athletic Director in 1981. Prior to this time, this position did not exist. Thus, she was the first person to ever hold this title. This is a title she would end up holding for 33 years. She was the glue that held the entire department together while working with multiple Athletic Directors throughout this time period. Just prior to retirement in 2014, Felicia had the most years of service of any Monroe County AD secretary. Her hard work earned her the highest honor in our area as she was awarded the Judith A. Martens secretary of excellence award for Section V in 2009. Felicia was a highly skilled professional who was liked and respected by all. Even after retirement, Felicia has come in to work several days per year to help train the new secretaries in order to try to keep the tradition of excellence going from where she left off. Elected as a special contributor, she is certainly someone special who we owe a great deal of thanks to for her outstanding work.
